Robbi Farschman, director of the Connective Corridor, spoke with WSYR radio about the installation of the new welcome sign in Armory Square and its design that promotes the Connective Corridor. The Post-Standard also reported on the new sign.
9WSYR's Bridge Street (view clip) featured the SU chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SU-SIFE). Led by faculty adviser Amanda Nicholson, professor of retail practice at Whitman, the SU-SIFE group is composed of more than 80 undergraduate students who use their knowledge to improve the economic, environmental and social sustainability of people in need. Nicholson appeared on Thursday's "Bridge Street" with SU-SIFE President-elect Camellia Loojune, an accounting major in the Whitman School.
Syracuse.com previewed the performance by the Syracuse Youth Orchestra and Youth String Orchestra on Sunday at Fayetteville-Manlius High School. Both orchestras are part of the Community Music Division of VPA's Setnor School of Music.
