Nanotechnology & Development News, EcoSeed, and Daily Tech reported on the research by Radhakrishna Sureshkumar, professor and chair of biomedical and chemical engineering, and SU chemical engineering Ph.D. student Satvik Wani from the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, which uses nanobiotechnology-manipulated light particles to accelerate algae growth.
A Post-Standard article reported that the “State of Schools” address delivered by Syracuse City School District Superintendent Daniel Lowengard mentioned the district’s involvement with SU and the Say Yes to Education program as being key to the goal of having all city students graduate from college or some other post-high school program.
