The Post-Standard reported on $1 million lottery winner Craig Jones, who works for SU’s Physical Plant.


Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, was quoted in the Los Angeles Daily News about the “Twilight” phenomenon, and in the Ithaca Journal about yesterday’s announcement that Eliot Spitzer will co-host a CNN program this fall.

Jeff Karson, professor and chair of earth sciences in The College of Arts and Sciences, commented on the strength of Northeastern earthquakes in a Post-Standard story and in a Your News Now (YNN) report about yesterday’s earthquake in Quebec.

Pat Penfield, assistant professor of supply chain management practice in the Whitman School of Management, was interviewed by YNN on new developments with the U.S. Post Office.

Articles in the Huffington Post and AlterNet referred to a recent article by David Cay Johnston, distinguished visiting lecturer in the College of Law and Whitman School of Management, about master limited partnerships and how regulations can shift income tax burdens onto consumers.
