Syracuse University is mentioned in a Fayetteville Observer (Fayetteville, N.C.) article describing plans to organize an Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for Veterans at Fayetteville State University.

Works on exhibition at El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe in New Mexico by video artist Yvonne Buchanan, assistant professor of illustration in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, are featured in a Santa Fe New Mexican review of the museum’s “Currents 2010″ show.

An excerpt from the address delivered by JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon at SU’s 156th Commencement exercises is included in a Christian Science Monitor round-up of 2010 commencement speeches.

Rachael Gazdick, Say Yes Syracuse executive director, and Susan Feightner, Say Yes director of marketing and communications, are mentioned in a brief Post-Standard report on books written by students from the Say Yes to Education program in Syracuse schools that will be sold to raise funds for the program.

A story about a new institute on aging and elder care at Menorah Park mentions SU will collaborate with the institute on applied research.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in a Chicago Tribune story on the change in cultural rituals exemplified by Saturday morning cartoons moving to cable.
