Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in the New York Times on the popularity of the Facebook game “FarmVille.” He also spoke with WTOP radio in Washington, D.C. about using deceased celebrities in television ads.
The announcement made by New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo that SU will host and lead the development of the new FAIR Health database for out-of-network healthcare costs was covered by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and ZDNet.
CNYLink featured the Newhouse School’s news-based website Democracywise where students report on Central New York politics.
