Nancy Snow, associate professor in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, wrote a column for the Huffington Post on the “Obama effect.”

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, was quoted in a Forbes article on female news anchors.

Rebecca Moore Howard, associate professor of writing and rhetoric in The College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in the Tampa Bay Tribune on plagiarism-detecting software for educators.

Vin Crosbie, senior consultant on executive education for new media and adjunct professor in the Newhouse School, was quoted in an NPR story on online anonymity.

Chancellor Nancy Cantor was mentioned in an Albany Times Union column on the city of Syracuse.

The Connective Corridor was mentioned in a Post-Standard article on state funding for several Central New York construction projects, including the new WCNY station on the Near Westside. WKTV in Utica also reported on this news, along with the Central New York Business Journal and local television and radio media.

The airing of the Syracuse University Brass Band Ensemble’s “Silver Screen Spectacular” was featured in the CNY section of the Post-Standard.
