The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University is now one of only nine schools in the United States to partner with the United States Army Logistics University as part of its National Logistics Curriculum (NLC). The NLC provides career military officers and Department of Defense civilians with comprehensive integrated knowledge of logistics as an enabler to the DoD’s logistical transformation strategy.

“We are pleased to be partnering with the U.S. Army in this way,” says Frances Gaither Tucker, chair of the Whitman marketing department and associate professor of marketing and supply chain management. “Participating with the Army Logistics University will allow students in the military the opportunity to earn an M.S. in supply chain management from Whitman, which has been offering supply chain management and allied majors since 1919 and is highly recognized nationwide for supply chain management. This partnership further solidifies the Whitman School’s longstanding relationship with the Department of Defense.”

The Army Logistics University is located in Fort Lee, Va. For more information, visit
