Research conducted in areas related to entrepreneurship and published by faculty in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked as No. 2 in the world in a study conducted by the M. J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
The study analyzed entrepreneurship research productivity of universities worldwide and measured universities that published in the three top entrepreneurship journals during the previous year. The top three journals are Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
“The inclusion of the Whitman School on this list speaks volumes of our faculty’s collective efforts in publishing in the most prestigious journals in business,” says George Burman, professor and chair of entrepreneurship and dean emeritus of the Whitman School. “We are pleased to be included for the first time this year and look forward to enhancing Whitman’s research reputation and impact in years to come.”
