Paul Savaiano ’09, account planner with Leo Burnett, will visit Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Monday, Nov. 8 as a guest of the Advertising Young Star Speaker Series. He will speak on “The Arts and Beauty of Accounts Planning in Advertising” at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. His talk is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots.
As an undergraduate in the Newhouse School, Savaiano was head of research and planning for the student team that won the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition. After graduation, he started his career at Leo Burnett in Chicago, one of the most awarded creative communications companies in the world. The company works with such brands as Hallmark, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Nintendo, Philip Morris and Procter & Gamble.
