The Syracuse University Sport Management Club, in collaboration with Steiner Sports Memorabilia, is holding an online auction of more than 25 premium items at Steiner On-Line, through Dec. 16.
Just in time for the holidays, this online auction is part of the Syracuse University Sport Management Club’s Charity Sports Auction to benefit the Central New York SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Proceeds from this event will help offset the costs affiliated with their new onsite medical facility.
The online auction is offering a wide range of sports memorabilia that make great gift ideas, including an autographed Donovan McNabb football, and Tom Brady authentic autographed Patriots jersey, as well as a team football autographed by the 1987-88 Syracuse University team that went 11-0-1 under Coach Dick MacPherson.
The online auction will also feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences including a Bob Costas “Football Night in America” experience for two during a 2011-12 game, two tickets for the 2011 Emmy Awards, and “A Day in the Booth” with Carrier Dome public address announcer Michael Veley, director and chair of SU’s Department of Sport Management. A special package at Captiva Island, Florida’s Tween Waters Inn is also available for bidding.
For more information about the auction, including regular updates of added auction items, visit Steiner On-Line Auction. More information is also available by contacting the Department of Sport Management at (315) 443-9816.
The SU Sport Management Club is a student-run organization of the Department of Sport Management in the College of Human Ecology. During the past five years, the SPM Club has been recognized with the Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement and Scholarship and received the 2009 Orange Circle Award from the SU Alumni Association to honor SU alumni, friends, faculty, staff and students who have achieved extraordinary things in support of others.
