The JPMorgan Chase & Co. Fall 2009 Speaker Series at Syracuse University will continue on Wednesday, Sept. 23 with a discussion by Bret Hartman, chief technology officer at RSA, the security division of EMC. EMC is the world’s leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technologies, services and solutions that enable people and organizations to transform the way they create value from their information.
The event be held from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in Room 500 of the Hall of Languages and is free and open to the public.
Hartman will offer insights into cloud computing and how security and virtualization are keys to its success. In his role as chief technology officer, he is responsible for defining the corporate security technology strategy for EMC, as implemented by the RSA division.
The JPMorgan Chase 2009 Fall Speaker Series seeks to share the expertise of JPMorgan Chase employees with students by bringing relevance and industry perspective to the SU campus.
