The JPMorgan Chase 2008 Fall Speaker Series will continue on Thursday, Nov. 13, with Sharon Dhall, chief technology officer for the student and auto lending business within JPMorgan Chase. Dhall will present "Management by Metrics: You Can't Manage What You Don't Measure" at 5 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium, located in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management building. A reception will follow the seminar at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Dhall has 15 years of experience in information technology, primarily in the financial services industry. She received a bachelor's degree in information studies from Syracuse University in 1993. After graduation, she joined Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) as a marketing program analyst. A year later, she joined Arthur Andersen IT Consulting, where she worked in the telecom and financial services industry sectors for more than two years.
Dhall spent more than 12 years with General Electric in the GE capital and consumer finance divisions. At GE, she worked in treasury, Six Sigma, card services and the underbanked arena. Her roles ranged from project management, conversion business leader, production support and Six Sigma quality leader to chief information officer.
Dhall completed her executive M.B.A. at the University of Connecticut in 2004.
