To help members of the University community make their voices heard, University Communications has created an online guide to writing and publishing op-ed articles.
The new guide can be found by clicking on the "Faculty Voices and Op-ed Guide" button on the SU News Web site, http://sunews.syr.edu. The new guide teaches University writers the keys to effective op-ed writing, with suggestions on format, content, topic selection and timing. The guide also outlines the assistance available from University Communications in editing and placing op-eds in local, regional and national print media outlets.
