SU's COMTEK hosts evening for pie lovers June 4

Syracuse University's
Community Test Kitchen (COMTEK) at the
South Side Innovation
Center
(SSIC) will hold a special evening for pie lovers on Thursday, June 4, starting at 5:30
p.m. The evening will include a discussion with Maureen Werther, founder of Pie Ala Mode,
a pie catering business located in Rochester. Werther will detail how she grew her business
and will also offer samples of her unique pies.


Early registration is strongly suggested; the cost is $10.


COMTEK is a joint partnership with the
Whitman School of Management at SU and the
Nelson Farms subsidiary of SUNY Morrisville. Parking is available at the SSIC, located at
2610 S. Salina St. in Syracuse.
