Syracuse University Division of Student Affairs appoints McPeak interim director of Office of Judicial Affairs

Effective May 18, Patrick McPeak will assume the position of interim director of the
Office of Judicial Affairs. McPeak replaces former director Ramy Badawy, who
served in the role from 2006-09.


McPeak joined the office as associate director in 2008. From 2006-08, McPeak served
as assistant director for budget operations in the Office of Student Life. Prior to that,
he was with the Office of Judicial Affairs as counselor and assistant director for four
years.


McPeak has extensive experience in judicial affairs, serving as a case manager,
overseeing the Office of Judicial Affairs' assessment projects, and serving as the
office's liaison to the Office of Residence Life and the Department of Athletics.


The Office of Judicial Affairs resolves alleged violations of the Code of Student
Conduct by educating all parties to the highest ethical standards of behavior with the
goal of achieving civility and good citizenship within the University community. For
