Monica Cody, bioengineer, shows students Antonisha Skipper, from Pine Grove Middle School, and Sam Fey from West Genesee Middle School how to write a standard operating procedure used in the manufacturing process. They were participating in the Science Horizons Program at Bristol-Myers Squibb in East Syracuse on July 8. They interacted with scientists and were given the opportunity to explore hands-on activities in areas such as chromatography and buffer preparation.
