On Sunday, May 10, Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science
and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) will hold joint Commencement exercises at the Carrier Dome.
The student procession begins at 9:30 a.m. U.S. Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., a 1968

the public.

Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. Due to anticipated record attendance, increased traffic and
security measures, guests should plan their visit accordingly. Metal detectors will be used at
every entrance, and everyone will be screened upon entry.

confetti, laser pointers, noise makers, electronic instruments, promotional items, signs (larger
than 2 feet tall and 18 inches wide), food or beverage (except for medical reasons or infants),
animals or knives or tools of any kind.

Members of the public wishing to attend must enter the Dome through Gates G, H, J, K, L,
