The Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) in the
Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked as one of
the top 25 best specialty programs for M.B.A. students nationwide in U.S. News &
World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools 2009." The department was
ranked 15. In 2008, it was ranked 18.
The rankings were based on a survey of 426 graduate business programs nationwide.
Specialty rankings were determined based on ratings by business school deans and
directors of accredited master's programs from the schools surveyed.
"Whitman's EEE department has consistently been recognized in national rankings
for its excellent activities and curriculum," says Maurice A. Harris, associate dean of
graduate programs at Whitman. "Undoubtedly, these rankings help us attract even
better-quality M.B.A. candidates to our program. Whitman is pleased to be
recognized in this way."
