The Syracuse University College of Law Moot Court Honor Society will host the 37th
Annual Mackenzie Hughes LLP Edmund H. Lewis Appellate Advocacy Competition on
Tuesday, April 21, at 5 p.m. in Grant Auditorium. This year's final round competitors are
Nick Evanovich and Jane Raven vs. Mark Butscha and Sarah Marquez. The presiding
judges will be the Hon. William Q. Hayes L'83, the Hon. Theodore A. McKee L'75, and
the Hon. Sandra L. Townes L'76.

"We are pleased to have a distinguished panel of judges who are committed to helping
students prepare for our professional roles," says Jonathan Marshall, a second-year law
student and member of the Moot Court Honor Society.

The event is part of SU Showcase, a celebration of creativity, discovery and service. The
daylong program features more than a hundred events, including academic
