The Department of Sport Management in Syracuse University's
College of Human
Ecology
has begun its "After the Auction Sale." More than 100 items-ranging from
video games to lift tickets to autographed sports memorabilia-can be viewed and
purchased at http://www.sucharitysportsauction.com. All items are available at
deeply discounted prices on a first-come, first-served basis, with proceeds benefiting
the Golisano Children's Hospital at Upstate and the SU Sport Management Club.

Anyone interested in purchasing an item from the sale may contact Kate Futrell at
443-9816 or kofutrel@syr.edu. Cash and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American
Express) are accepted now through Thursday, April 16, at 5 p.m. Please note that the
Department of Sport Management cannot ship items that have been purchased; all
merchandise must be picked up at the department offices at 808 Nottingham Road
(Drumlins Complex).

The SU Sport Management Club is a student-run organization in the College of
Human Ecology's Department of Sport Management. Since its inception, the club
has participated in numerous community service efforts and raised more than
$50,000 for local charities. On April 2, the club staged its Fourth Annual Charity
Sports Auction and Jreck Subs Distinguished Lecture in the Carrier Dome.
