Need a little last-minute tax help? Accounting students in the Whitman School are
offering free income tax preparation Tuesday and Thursday this week (April 7 and 9)
to SU students, faculty and staff who have non-complicated individual tax returns that
can generally be filed on IRS short forms (1040 EZ or 1040A). The Beta Alpha Psi
(BAP) Free Tax Assistance group will be stationed in the Flaum Grand Hall in the
Whitman School building both days from noon-4 p.m.
The service will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is directed toward tax
payers that may need a little extra help figuring out their taxes. Tax forms will be
provided to those who do not yet have them.
