It's never too early for students to start thinking about a career path. By hosting its third
annual career transition program, "Explore and Experience ... Your Path to Career Success"
on March 27, the career center in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse
University, in collaboration with The College of Arts and Sciences, the iSchool, and the L.C.
Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science, will provide students from across the
SU campus with the opportunity to chart their paths to career success. With guidance from
a wide-ranging group of Whitman's corporate partners, students will prepare for the
upcoming fall recruiting cycle with career workshops, mock interviews, resume critiques and
panel discussions.

The stellar line-up of companies involved in "Explore and Experience" includes Ernst &
Young, Deloitte, TJX, Cigna, Friedman, M&T Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Personnel
from each of these companies will lead discussions on personal branding, career exploration,
networking, career strategy, interviewing and business correspondence. Additional resume
reviews and mock interviews will be conducted by representatives from Ayco, Dermody
Burke & Brown, Grant Thornton, Kohl's, RSM McGladrey, Wells Fargo and Anchin, Block
& Anchin. One of the highlights of this year's "Explore and Experience" will be the
"Business Dress Seminar," hosted by Macy's, which will take place during a networking
lunch. The event will culminate with a "Business Etiquette Dinner" at the Sheraton Syracuse
University Hotel and Conference Center.

"We are dedicated to providing students with the skills and support they need to launch
successful careers," says Angela Petrucco, director of the Whitman Career Center. "'Explore
and Experience gives students a chance to learn more about various opportunities and to
become excited about future possibilities; it also gives them the ability to access tools that will
ensure their success. Even in these difficult times, our corporate partners continue to support
us through donations and in-kind gifts, helping us make this event possible, for which we
are grateful."

The "Explore and Experience" program takes place in the Flaum Grand Hall and Lender
Auditorium, located in the Whitman School building, and is open to all sophomores and
juniors. For more information, contact the Whitman Career center at (315) 443-4140.
