Can't travel to Italy for pasta? Then do the next best thing and spend the evening
with Rita Grimaldi and Italian cinematographer Stefano Coletta. On Sunday, March
22, Grimaldi's Luna Park Restaurant, 6430 Yorktown Circle, East Syracuse, will
feature a special dinner-"Utica greens," chicken scamardo, gelato and more-
prepared in honor of Coletta, who is currently a visiting artist in the film program of
Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Grimaldi is sponsoring the event to benefit the 2009 Syracuse International Film
Festival
. In addition to specialty cuisine and an Italian cinematographer, the evening
will feature sneak previews of 2009 festival films and Italian songs by Syracuse Opera
bass-baritone Tom Anzalone.

Coletta arrived from Rome, Italy, on Feb. 28 and is leading a cinematography
workshop for SU filmmaking students until the end of March, when he returns to
Rome and his filmmaking career. Coletta teaches at The University of Bologna
(Hypermedia University) and has worked throughout the world on more than 30
feature-length films.
