On Monday, March 23, the Entrepreneurship Club in the Whitman School of Management
at Syracuse University
will host a guest lecture by Johnny Earle, founder and president of
the Johnny Cupcakes clothing brand. The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in the Lender
Auditorium. The event is open to the public for a $5 entrance fee; SU students with I.D. are
free. Paid parking is available at the University Avenue Garage.

Earle's guest lecture will include information about starting a business, both Web-based and
retail; marketing, branding and viral marketing; and acquiring a passionate following.
Voted America's "Number One Young Entrepreneur of 2008" by BusinessWeek, Earle
created a multi-million dollar, home-grown, unique T-shirt brand at the age of 19 that
embraces independence without the use of advertisement and outside venture capital.
