The Communications Law & Policy Society at the
Syracuse University College of
Law
will host its Fourth Annual Communications Law & Policy Symposium on
Saturday, Feb. 28, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Genesee Grande Hotel in Syracuse. The
symposium, "Memo to President Obama: Communications Policy for the New

law, policy, and the media. The public is invited to attend.

Panel sessions include the "Battle for Universal Service," "Alarming Disregard:
Communication Preparedness in National Emergencies," "Internet Privacy and
Behavior Advertising," "Minority Report: How The Media and Media Regulations
Affect Minorities in Election Coverage" and "Indecent Proposal: Revising 30 Years of
Communications Policy."

Confirmed speakers include representatives from Google; Microsoft; Lockheed
Martin; Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC; Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP; Patton
Boggs LLP; Pae Tech; the Parents Television Council; the National Black Coalition

"Those attending the symposium should be prepared to engage in a conversation
about the future of communications policy and how it relates to the media," says
Lindsey Brady, the Communications Law & Policy Society's president.

Immediately following the symposium the panel members will be available for a
networking event. Those interested can register now at http://www.SUCLPS.org. For
