Syracuse University's Lutheran Campus Ministry will hold a jazz service of
remembrance on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.

The service is open to the public. Parking is available in the University's visitor pay
lots.

During the worship service, those in attendance will share their personal loss
experiences. Bishop Marie Jerge, bishop of the Upstate New York Lutheran Synod,
and James K. Duah-Agyeman, director of SU's Office of Multicultural Affairs, will
offer reflections.

The worship service will conclude with a musical procession of "When the Saints Go
Marching In," arranged by SU music instructor Joseph Riposo and performed by a
brass quintet composed of students from the Setnor School of Music in SU's College
of Visual and Performing Arts. The procession will move from the chapel to the Noble
Room on the lower level, where a Mardi Gras celebration will take place.
