The Sustainable Enterprise Partnership (SEP), a distinctive transdisciplinary
approach to world-class education and research on business and sustainability
partnering Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management, the SUNY
College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) and Syracuse Center of
Excellence, announces a second round of mini-grant funding.

The SEP is making available three mini-grants of $5,000 each for summer 2009. All
professors and researchers from SU, SUNY-ESF and SyracuseCoE with interest and
expertise in sustainable business concepts, practices, metrics and assessments are
invited to apply. In keeping with the SEP's emphasis on transdisciplinary
collaboration and integration, investigators from at least two disciplines will be
required for each proposal that promotes research in sustainable enterprise. The call
for proposals is available at http://partnersforsustainability.org; the deadline is March
16.

The SEP utilizes the combined strengths of the Whitman School, SUNY-ESF and
SyracuseCoE to offer world-class education and research on sustainable enterprise
and provide an in-depth understanding of sustainability policy and practice. This
unique collaboration actively integrates business, science, policy and practice to
develop and provide graduate and undergraduate curricula, educational outreach
and research on sustainable enterprise, with particular emphasis on small and
medium-sized business enterprises.
