Free workshop series to focus on entrepreneurship, intellectual property

Enitiative and the Office of Technology Transfer and Industrial Design at Syracuse
University are sponsoring the "Innovation to Market Workshop Series," which focuses on
teaching entrepreneurs how to protect their intellectual property assets. Workshops are free
and open to the public.


The next workshop in the series will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, from noon-1:30 p.m. in
Room 347 of Hinds Hall. This workshop will demystify the intellectual property policy and
the Office of Technology Transfer and Industrial Development at Syracuse University.
Lunch will be provided free of charge.

Enitiative awards grants to individuals and organizations launching entrepreneurial
ventures that connect college campuses with the surrounding communities. Enitiative was
made possible through a $3 million, five-year grant from the Kauffman Campuses Initiative
