The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a guest workshop
by Raymond Infarinato, leadership development consultant for IBM's corporate
integrated services team, on Feb. 6. Infarinato's workshop, titled "Consulting in a Non-
Consulting Environment," will take place 9 a.m.-noon in the Lender Auditorium, located
on the concourse level of the Whitman School building. Sponsored by the Whitman
Consulting Club and the Whitman Graduate Programs Office, the workshop is open to
all SU students, staff and faculty.
The highly participatory workshop will help participants recognize and practice the skills
employed by consultants that are valuable in any work environment. A key focus of the
workshop will be team working styles.
As a former senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Infarinato has extensive
management consulting experience advising dynamic and diversified Fortune 500
companies on aligning their financial functions with business strategy and on achieving
performance improvements through organizational, process and technology
improvements. With a background in the broadcast television industry (CBS, FOX,
SONY Tri-Star), Infarinato has worked in finance, operations and production. He holds
an M.B.A. from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
