It's generally known that volatility in equity markets is inevitable. In times like these,
keeping a close eye on one's investment strategy is more important than ever.
Syracuse University employees can join a representative from TIAA-CREF's local
office to discuss market volatility in general, examples of notable market downturns
in the past, and options for managing accounts during changes in market conditions.

Seminars will be held in the Kilian Room, Room 500 of the Hall of Languages, on the
following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 2, noon-1 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 5, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 9, 9-10 a.m.

Those interested in attending a seminar should R.S.V.P. to the local TIAA-CREF office
by calling (315) 477-9000.

SU employees who wish to schedule a one-on-one appointment with a TIAA-CREF
advisor should call (315) 477-9000 or 1-866-698-4221 for meetings at Room 210 in
Steele Hall or at the newly opened local office at 250 S. Clinton St., Suite 310, in
Syracuse.
