SU's Newhouse School to host photographer Clint Clemens Nov. 6

Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications will host
advertising photographer Clint Clemens '71 on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in the
Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. Clemens will discuss the expanding
role of technology in photography, especially computer-generated imaging and 3D
imaging for the Web. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available
in SU pay lots.


"Clint is one of our all-star grads," says Tony Golden, chair of Newhouse's
Department of Visual and Interactive Communications (VIC). "With an incredible
career as an advertising photographer, he has shot for the biggest names in
automotive, fashion and sport."


Clemens is a commercial director at Tool of North America. He has won numerous awards for his work, including Andies, Clios and an overall
first in the Kellys. His photographs have been featured in Communication Arts,
Lurzer's Archive Magazine, Graphis, Photographis and Applied Arts.
He has shot for such companies as Asics, Bell Helmets BMW, Conde Nast
Women's Sports and Fitness, Harley-Davidson, Jaguar, Mercedes, New Balance,
The North Face, Porsche, Prada, Specialized Bikes, Volkswagen and Volvo.
