Faculty from the Maxwell School, along with student representatives of the College
Republicans and College Democrats, will discuss pressing election issues during two
upcoming symposia-on Tuesday, Oct. 21, and Tuesday, Oct. 28, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Oct. 21 event will focus on "Energy and Climate Change." Professors Sarah Pralle and

Phanstiel Chair in Strategic Management and Leadership Rosemary O'Leary.

The Oct. 28 event will feature professors Catherine Bertini and Donald Planty laying out the
candidates' views and proposals on a range of issues related to "America's Role in the
World," followed by a debate between the College Republicans and College Democrats. The
question-and-answer session with the audience will be moderated by Maxwell School Dean
Mitchel Wallerstein.

Both events will be held in Maxwell Auditorium. Paid parking is available in the Irving
Garage. The events are free and open to the public.
