On Wednesday, Oct. 1, The Verizon Wireless Campus Tour rolls into Syracuse,
bringing with it headliner Boys Like Girls, emo-pop act Cute Is What We Aim For
and indie-pop musician Lights. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. in the
Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center's Goldstein Auditorium.

Tickets are available at the Schine Box Office: $10 for SU and SUNY-ESF students,
faculty and staff with I.D. and $20 for the general public. Parking will be available in
the Harrison and Lehman lots on University Avenue.

"University Union is starting off strong this school year," says University Union
Concerts Executive Director Kelly Bertog. "We opened the semester with Bloc Party
at Juice Jam, and now we have another great lineup for the students with Boys Like
Girls and special guests Cute Is What We Aim For and Lights. It's the third Verizon
Wireless Tour to hit campus, and we couldn't be more excited."

Boys Like Girls (http://www.boyslikegirls.com) is an alternative Boston-based band with
catchy hooks and youthful energy. After an early public online debut, the band
caught the attention of music industry players by the end of 2005. Following a
national PureVolume-sponsored tour, the band entered the studio and recorded its
self-titled debut album in August 2006.

Cute Is What We Aim For (http://www.cuteiswhatweaimfor.com/band) formed in early
January 2005. The group's full-length and Billboard 200-charting debut album, "The
Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch," was released in June 2006. Its second
album, "Rotation," was released in June 2008.

Lights (http://www.myspace.com/lightsnoise) is a Toronto indie-musician who has made
her mark on the music scene using a unique combination of ethereal vocals and
synthesizers. Lights' newest EP, titled "Drive My Soul," hit stores in September.
