The JPMorgan Chase 2008 Fall Speaker Series will continue on Wednesday, Oct. 1, with
Larry O'Donnell, vice president of human resources for the company in India. O'Donnell
will present on the topic "Working Experience in India" at 12:30 p.m. in the Katzer
Collaboratory, located in Hinds Hall. The event is open to the public.
O'Donnell has been employed in human resources at JPMorgan Chase for the past 26 years.
His experiences include management roles in benefits, recruiting, development and talent
management. In addition, he has held positions as an HR business partner in various
businesses and functions within the firm, including middle market banking, credit and
compliance, audit, general services, global trading operations and systems, and the
mortgage company.
His most recent role with the firm in the credit card business included being the human
resources business partner for all operations and managing global solutions, which included
the India operations as well as the start-up for the credit card call center in the Philippines.
O'Donnell moved to India two years ago to head the HR team of more than 80 professionals
supporting 10,000+ employees in every line of business in the firm.
He is a certified global human resources professional with the Society for Human Resource
Management and has served on its India Business Advisory Council for the past two years.
The next speaker in the series is Kim Davis, president of the JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Foundation, who will be the keynote speaker at the Diversity Summit dinner on Oct. 6.
