Tickets to the Sept. 12 Syracuse premiere of "The Express" at the Landmark Theatre
are sold out. But there is still opportunity for those without tickets to take part in the
festivities.

The Key Bank 44 Rewards Orange Carpet Show on Salina Street begins at 5 p.m.
with music by The Coasters and video features on the making of the movie.

A 6 p.m. ribbon cutting starts the orange carpet procession and the arrival of cast
members Dennis Quaid, Rob Brown, Charles Dutton, Omar Benson Miller and
Darrin Dewitt Henson; the movie's director, Gary Fleder, and producer, John Davis;
and SU celebrities Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Art Monk, Don McPherson, Dick
MacPherson and Bob Costas; 40 members of the 1959 SU national championship
team; and family members of Davis and his SU coach, Ben Schwartzwalder.

The public is invited to attend the Key Bank 44 Rewards Orange Carpet Show
festivities free of charge. Bleacher seats will be offered on a first-come, first-served
basis, and refreshments and merchandise will be available for purchase. Fans will
have the opportunity to win various prizes including T-shirts, SU football tickets and
even special "spontaneous tickets" to move inside the theater to watch the premiere at
7:30 p.m.
