The art education program in the School of Art and Design in Syracuse University's College
of Visual and Performing Arts
(VPA) has announced that it will offer its Fall Art Workshops
for Children, for ages 5-14, on Saturdays from Sept. 13-Nov. 15. The workshops are held at
M-17 Skytop, 441 Lambreth Lane on SU's South Campus.

The workshops present a variety of experiences planned in VPA's art education classes and
culminate in an exhibition known as "The Big Show." They are taught by undergraduate
and graduate students and are supervised by the faculty and administration of the art
education program.

Children may participate in one of two sessions offered: session I is 9:30-10:45 a.m.; session II
is 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The fee is $65 per child and $35 for each family's additional child. To
register or for more information, contact Patti Gavigan at 315-443-2355 or
