Students in the OnCampus program show off their photography work. The program
is a series of photography workshops, hosted by Light Work, for six students with
developmental disabilities, which brings the students to the Syracuse University
campus for academic, vocational and social experiences. The workshop series
provides them with an opportunity to explore issues of identity and create photograms
and self-portraits using Polaroid cameras and Photoshop technology.
OnCampus is
a partnership between the Syracuse City School District and SU's School of Education.
The students are supported by teaching staff from the city school district, and by SU
students in a variety of degree programs. For more information, visit http://www.lightwork.org.
