Syracuse University/SUNY-ESF Commencement on Sunday, May 11, open to the public and viewable live on television

On Sunday, May 11, Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry will hold joint Commencement exercises at the Carrier Dome. The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m.


ABC News journalist Bob Woodruff is the 2008 Commencement speaker; his address is open to the public. Members of the public wishing to attend can enter the Dome through Gates A, B, C, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N and P.


PARKING: Space permitting, free parking is available in SU's Harrison, Lehman and Marion lots, and the University Avenue Garage. For a map of available campus parking lots and garages,

WEBCAST: A webcast of the ceremony will be available in the days following Commencement. The webcast can be accessed
at http://commencement.syr.edu.


TELEVISION: WSYR-TV digital 9.2/Time Warner 890 will carry the majority of the Commencement ceremony, including Woodruff's speech, live beginning at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony will also be re-aired several times on Sunday afternoon.
