Syracuse-area native, PR maven and character on MTV's 'The Hills' to speak at Newhouse School Friday

Camillus native Kelly Cutrone, founder and CEO of the fashion PR firm The People's Revolution, who has gained fame through regular appearances on the MTV docu-drama "The Hills," will speak at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications on Friday, April 25, at 2 p.m. in Room 203 of Newhouse 1. She will speak on the importance of branding in fashion public relations. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots.


Cutrone's agency has produced fashion shows for As Four, Rachel Comey, Pat Fields, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Nicky Hilton, Atil Kutoglu, Jennifer Nicholson, Paco Rabanne, Marisa Ribisi, Alvin Valley, Vivienne Westwood and others.


On "The Hills," she plays the boss to main character Whitney Port, who is interning at The People's Revolution.
