The Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) at Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management will host a two-day seminar on "Teaching Entrepreneurship" on Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20. The Monday seminar will be held in the Milton Room (fourth floor) of the Whitman School building, and the Tuesday seminar will be at the South Side Innovation Center (SSIC), 2610 S. Salina St.
The seminar is an abbreviated and customized version of EEE's nationally prominent Experiential Classroom for faculty members from SU and its partner institutions who have received an eGrant or are interested in applying for one. The program will cover core content, unique delivery methods, pedagogical tools, unique experiential learning methods, student engagement in the community, and the design of a course in entrepreneurship outside the business school.
Those interested in attending should contact George Burman, professor and chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, at grburman@syr.edu to register.
