SU Women's Choir to participate in NYU Women's Choir Festival, offers free pre-tour concert at SU April 17

The
Syracuse University Women's Choir, under the direction of Barbara M. Tagg, faculty member in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, will offer a free concert on Thursday, April 17, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium in Crouse College. Parking is available in the Irving Garage.


The concert is in preparation for the choir's participation in the New York University Women's Choir Festival on April 19 at Manhattan Church of Christ. Concert repertoire for both events will include selections by Stuart Calvert, Moses Hogan, Pierre Passereau, Stephen Paulus, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Gregg Smith and Michael Torke.
