The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a guest lecture by Mark C. Roe '93 M.B.A., senior director of worldwide service for Apple, on Monday, April 7, at 7 p.m. in Lender Auditorium, located on the concourse level of the Whitman School building. The lecture, titled "Apple: Innovation," is part of the Whitman Marketing Spring Speaker Series and is free and open to the public.
In his current position with Apple, Roe manages the company's global service operations, driving Apple's award-winning customer satisfaction performance while reducing the expense to revenue ratio. Roe manages new product service readiness, technical field support and feedback, service engineering, strategic sourcing, planning and procurement, field service, Apple Retail service and depot repair operations. Before joining Apple, Roe was vice president for Palm Inc. and senior manager at Accenture, and held management positions with Texas Instruments.
Roe earned a B.S. at Virginia Polytechnic University in 1986 and an M.B.A. at Whitman in 1993.
