Vibrant photos from around the world will provide a welcome burst of late winter color March 17-21 in the Panasci Lounge at the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center. The photos have been submitted by study abroad alumni vying for various prizes and are just one facet of SU Abroad's Study Abroad Day on Wednesday, March 19.
This is the second year that SU Abroad has arranged the information fair. "It's an easy, one-stop study abroad `shop,'" says recruiter Nancy Farrell. "Students can ask the experts about various programs or deadlines, and meet center directors from around the world. Plus, it's a perfect time for those who may be on the fence to learn about fall 2008 incentives that aren't available for the spring semester." Such incentives include increased financial aid and a discount on spring on-campus housing.
Those students interested in a specific country are encouraged to attend center director presentations. The times are: 10:30 a.m., Santiago; 11 a.m., Beijing; 11:30 a.m., Florence; noon, Madrid; 12:30 p.m., Strasbourg; 1 p.m., London; 1:30 p.m., Hong Kong student alumni.
