"Take Back the Night," an annual event intended to raise awareness about sexual violence in the community, will take place on the Syracuse University campus on April 26.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Hendricks Chapel. Two survivors of sexual assault will share their experiences. There will also be musical performance by the student group Orange Appeal.

Following the presentations, those in attendance will begin a march that will circle the campus. The march will end at the steps of Hendricks Chapel, where a rally will take place. Following the rally, a speak-out session will be held inside Hendricks Chapel. The speak-out portion of the event is closed to the media.
