The Whitman Consulting Club in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a guest lecture by Alexander Kandybin, partner and vice president with Booz Allen Hamilton, on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. in Room 001 of the Whitman School building. The lecture is free and open to SU students, faculty and staff.
Manhattan-based Kandybin will speak on "Consulting Projects: A Day in the Life," explaining what consultants do and describing career paths in consulting. Using a real-life example of a large consumer products company, Kandybin will also talk about how consulting firms work with clients, particularly those looking for growth options.
Kandybin holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in chemical engineering from the Moscow Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, and an M.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan Business School. His areas of expertise include growth strategy, product and technology strategy, innovation and research and development.
