John L. Palmer, dean of the Maxwell School, will deliver his farewell address to the School on April 25 in Maxwell Auditorium. Maxwell Associate Dean Michael Wasylenko will preside over the program, which begins at 4 pm. Prior to the address, speakers representing the University and the school will pay tribute to Palmer, who is stepping aside after 15 years.
Speakers at the event will include Chancellor Kenneth A. Shaw; Vice Chancellor Deborah Freund; Maxwell School Advisory Board Chair Ford Rowan; Virginia Denton, director of University Design and Construction; David C. Smith, vice president of Enrollment Management; and Kristi Andersen, professor of political science and Meredith professor of Teaching Excellence.
