Two College of Law H. Douglas Barclay Law Library librarians have received a national grant from the American Association of Law Libraries. Assistant Director for Faculty and Outreach Services Wendy Scott and Reference/Student Services Librarian Christine Demetros have been awarded a 2007 Wolters/Kluwer Law and Business grant, which supports research on the impact of integrated service models in academic law libraries.

The proposal was awarded to identify, analyze and disseminate available scholarship on integrated library service models (merging reference and circulation services); gather and evaluate statistical and experiential data from academic law libraries and specialized professional libraries; glean patron perceptions about integrated service models; and present their findings to academic law librarians to assist them in assessing the challenges and opportunities afforded by an integrated service model.
