SU professor Don Siegel to be interviewed on NPR's 'Talk of the Nation' on Christmas Day

Don Siegel, professor of earth sciences in Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences, will be interviewed from the Bamboo Garden Chinese Restaurant in Cicero for a segment on National Public Radio's "Talk of the Nation" program, to air on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, from 2:30-3 p.m. The program airs locally on WRVO-FM (http://www.wrvo.fm/).


Siegel will be interviewed about his book "Lokshen to LoMein: The Jewish Love Affair with Chinese Food" (Gefen Publishing, 2005), which explores the cultural connections between Jews and Chinese food, and which also is a popular kosher-Chinese cookbook.
