Due to projections for high winds producing drifting snow along with low temperatures in the overnight and early morning hours on Monday, Dec. 17, Syracuse University will operate on a shortened business day schedule on Monday with offices opening -- with the exception of Physical Plant, Public Safety and Energy Management staff -- at 9:30 a.m. and closing at 4 p.m. to accommodate employees in traveling to and from campus. The offices of Physical Plant, Public Safety and Energy Management will adhere to their normal schedules.

Members of the University community should proceed with care when traveling to and around campus while snow crews continue to clear campus roads, sidewalks and parking lots.

Centro buses will be running on their regular routes. Any changes in bus schedules will be posted at the Syracuse University News website (http://sunews.syr.edu).

Should the University's operating status change, additional information will be available via the Syracuse University News site, e-mail and 315-443-1870.
