Michael H. Morris, the Chris Witting Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, will give a keynote address on Tuesday, Dec. 11, as part of the Focal Point Business Seminar Series. The lecture, titled "The Global Entrepreneurial Revolution and Your Company," will take place at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center at 8 a.m. The Focal Point Business Seminar Series is hosted by Bond, Schoeneck & King and Accord Human Resources, in partnership with KeyBank, the Whitman School and CNY Business Exchange Magazine.
The Focal Point Business Seminar Series was developed as an ongoing series of seminars to help presidents, CEOs and upper management professionals of middle and emerging market companies in Central New York gain insight into the business world of the 21st century.
Morris' lecture will be followed by "Tax Strategies for Your Business" by John E. Reynolds, CPA at Testone, Marshall, & Discenza CPAs.
On Jan. 24, the Focal Point Business Seminar Series will continue with a lecture by James R. Barger, senior vice president of KeyBank, on "Financing Mergers and Acquisitions."
